Ethan has been with DowDuPont for over 25 years in various technology leadership roles. Currently he is CTO for the Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials business. He has served as R&D director in areas such as semiconductor chemical mechanical planarization (CMP), new technology development, and specialty antimicrobial and polymeric products for consumer and industrial applications. He holds a Ph.D. and Master’s degree in chemistry from Harvard University, a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Harvard and a certificate in business management from Wharton.

Ethan Simon

Global Technology Leader

Rajaram is the Business Leader, E&C South Asia & Marketing Manager - DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions (South Asia and ASEAN). He has extensive experience in the PV industry. Prior to joining DuPont, Mr. Pai worked at Moser Baer Solar wherein he worked in senior management positions across Sales & Marketing, Operations and Projects.
Apart from the solar sector, Rajaram has served over 10 years in various management roles at IBM, Delphi Corporation and Titan Industries. He is a Post Graduate from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and a Mechanical Engineer from Mangalore University.

Business Leader, E&C South Asia & Marketing Manager - DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions (South Asia and ASEAN)

After completing a PhD in Physics at the University of Cambridge, UK in 1991, Stephan joined DuPont, where he has primarily been involved in new technology and market development initiatives in the electronics industry, with applications ranging from printed circuit boards, integrated circuitry packaging, Organic Light Emitting Diodes and photovoltaics. Stephan is based in Geneva, Switzerland where he leads the DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions business development & marketing activities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Stephan Padlewski

Regional Marketing Leader, EMEA, DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions

Mark is the Global Marketing Manager for DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions. He is responsible for developing and executing long-term marketing plans and short-term action plans for the Asia Pacific region.
Mark began his career with DuPont in 2007 as a Marketing Manager in DuPont’s Performance Coating business. He later held Sales and Marketing roles in China for DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions.
Prior to joining DuPont, he held roles with Bearing Point, eBay China, and Deloitte Consulting.
Mark received a degree in international trade from Shanghai Jiaotong University and a Master of Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Mark Ma

Global Marketing Manager, DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions

Dr. Oakland Fu was appointed global business development manager for DuPont Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials in 2018. He is pushing forward new PV business opportunities and managing new concepts for Tedlar® products. From 2011 to 2014, Oakland led the DuPont Photovoltaic Fluoromaterials China technical team and was involved in developing solar panel backsheet applications and building up the national standard to support greater durability for solar panels. He has conducted extensive research on failure mechanisms of solar panels, especially related to the durability of backsheets, and initiated field studies of large-scale solar farms in China to evaluate long-term materials performance. From 2014 to 2017, he took the role of China marketing manager of DuPont Photovoltaic Fluoromaterials and was active in raising the awareness about the critical role of materials in the solar industry worldwide. He joined DuPont in 2006 and has held a variety of roles in R&D, technical and marketing.

Oakland is recognized as an expert in solar backsheet materials, solar panel reliability and durability, has published multiple technical articles and patents, and is a well-known speaker at solar conferences in Asia Pacific. He graduated from the Chinese Academy of Sciences with Ph. D. in Materials Science and is based in Shanghai.

Dr. Oakland Fu

Global Business Development Manager-PV, DuPont Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials

Dr. Marisol Rodriguez is a Technical Manager in the DuPont Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials business. She leads the Tedlar® Research & Development organization working on new product development, application development and technical service for the photovoltaic, aircraft and industrial market segments. Her role includes strategic technology direction and planning, execution of development and commercialization projects for new and improved products and strengthening and renewing the global technical organization.

Marisol earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and a Ph. D. in analytical chemistry at the University of Texas, Austin

Tedlar® R&D Leader, Photovoltaic & Advanced Materials

Ben is the Regional Sales Manager responsible for sales and growth of Tedlar®, Solamet® and Fortasun™ products in Americas and Europe for DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions.  He began his career at DuPont in 2003 and has held key roles in engineering and manufacturing, marketing and business consulting, finance and working capital management as well as demand and supply chain management.   Prior to his current role, he held various sales and business development roles and he also served as the global demand manager for DuPont Photovoltaics Solutions.

Ben received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from University of Delaware and a Master of Business Administration from Goldey Beacom College with a  concentration in Finance.

Ben Zoufan

West (Americas & Europe) Sales Manager DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions

Kaushik currently leads DuPont’s global PV field reliability program working on reliability and durability of PV packaging materials, degradation of polymeric materials in field-deployed PV modules, and PV system economics. At DuPont, he has previously led programs on metallization pastes for silicon photovoltaics, novel inorganic and hybrid thin-film solar absorbers, and light emitting and plasmonic nanomaterials.
Kaushik has a Ph.D. in Materials Physics and has over 15 years of experience in photovoltaic and optoelectronic materials.

Kaushik Roy Choudhury

Senior Scientist and a Project Leader at DuPont

Michael is leading new product development with Tedlar® PVF films. He started with DuPont in Central Research and Development in 2012, working on developing new materials for lithium ion batteries, polyimide graphitization, and thermal interface materials. His current work is on creating highly durable transparent Tedlar® for photovoltaic backsheets that enable high reliability and light weight in bifacial modules.
He is a mechanical engineer by training and holds a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degree from Case Western Reserve University and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mike Demko

Principal Investigator in Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials

Dr. Guangyao Jin is the Chief Scientist of DuPont™ Solamet® photovoltaic metallization pastes, DuPont Photovoltaic & Advanced Materials, and has been since 2017. He is responsible for developing the Solamet® paste product family’s technology strategy and roadmap. He is also leading the function of advanced solar cell technology application as well as process development for metallization pastes.
Before joining Dupont, he was the General Manager of PV business for Kingstone Semiconductor Co. Ltd., under Amtech Group (Nasdaq: ASYS). He was the key leader to transform the PV department from an R&D status to a commercial business. He and his team has successfully developed the innovative low-cost production equipment as well as transferred the turnkey manufacturing process for industrial leading N-PERT and IBC solar cells technology into multiple GWs scaled mass production. Prior to joining Kingstone, Dr. Jin was working with SERIS and Suntech Power for a variety of technology and management roles.
Jin received his doctoral degree in major of advanced silicon material solar cell and module development, from School of Photovoltaics in University of New South Wales, Australia. So far, he has more than 12 published papers and has applied over 40 invention patents.

Dr. Guangyao Jin

Chief Scientist, DuPont™ Solamet® photovoltaic metallization pastes

Bill is a Technical Fellow within the DuPont Photovoltaics and Advanced Materials business. He leads the global PV materials and module test development activities within the Reliability Group and manages the PV Application Laboratory in Wilmington, DE. Bill’s focus has been on developing tests, which predict field performance and assessing performance and durability on new materials and processes.
Bill has worked at DuPont for over 30 years in technical programs including Photovoltaics, LCD Display Films, OLED Materials Development, Holographics, Electronic Imaging and Optical Storage. In all cases, his work has focused on application development and new product testing.
Prior to DuPont, Bill worked in product testing and application development for optical and electronic materials and components including optical storage materials, conductive polymers, display materials and thin film PV modules. Bill holds an M.S. in Physics from the University of Delaware and a B.S. in Physics from Villanova University.
