Dr. Chuck Xu

Global Managing Director, DuPont Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials

Dr. Xu acts as VPGM of DuPont Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials (PVAM) business unit providing materials solutions for solar energy, aircraft, automotive, telecom and the consumer electronics industries, in addition to leading DuPont’s Non-Core division, a $2B portfolio of multiple global businesses including biomaterials, environmental technology solutions, photovoltaics (PV), and advanced materials.

Dr. Xu has held a variety of global leadership positions since he joined DuPont in 2002 as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of DuPont Photonics Technologies, LLC. He served as Business Development Director for the DuPont Displays from 2005 to 2007 and General Manager for the DuPont LCD Solutions business from 2007 to 2008. In late 2008, he became President of DuPont Authentication Inc., a global leader providing total anti-counterfeit solutions to brand owners and government agencies. He expatriated from the U.S. to Hong Kong in August 2010 as Managing Director and CEO of DuPont Apollo Ltd., a DuPont subsidiary providing silicon-based thin film solar PV modules and systems. Dr. Xu repatriated to the U.S. in 2013 as the Global Business Director of the DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions business, the world’s largest non-silicon PV materials provider enabling exponential growth of the $100B+ solar PV industry.

Before joining DuPont, Dr. Xu was Executive Director of Telephotonics, Inc., a U.S. based venture capital funded telecom startup. He played a key role in the development of the company, transforming it from an R&D organization to a commercial business and leading its acquisition by DuPont in July 2002. Prior to joining Telephotonics, Dr. Xu spent six years at Honeywell assuming a variety of technology and management roles.

Born in China, Dr. Xu received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Peking University, a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Columbia University test.

Ethan has been with DowDuPont for over 25 years in various technology leadership roles. Currently he is CTO for the Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials business. He has served as R&D director in areas such as semiconductor chemical mechanical planarization (CMP), new technology development, and specialty antimicrobial and polymeric products for consumer and industrial applications. He holds a Ph.D. and Master’s degree in chemistry from Harvard University, a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Harvard and a certificate in business management from Wharton.

Ethan Simon

Global Technology Leader

In February 2017, Eric Wang was named as Global Commercial Director of DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions, the leading global supplier of specialty materials to the solar industry. He has full responsibility for the marketing, sales and future growth initiatives of DuPont photovoltaic materials.

In December 1995, Eric Wang joined Du Pont China Holding Co., Ltd. as a marketing representative for Dacron® fibers. In 2000, he was transferred to DuPont Advanced Fiber System sales team. In 2003, he was appointed as Nomex® China Sales Manager for DuPont Advanced Fiber System and was also recognized with the DuPont Corporate Marketing Excellence Award. In 2006 and 2009, he was appointed China Country Manager for DuPont Advanced Fiber System and DuPont Protection Technologies.

In 2010, Eric Wang was appointed Growth Initiatives Director for Du Pont China Holding Co., Ltd. and China Director for DuPont Electronics and Communications in 2011. In October 2013, he was appointed Global Sales Director for DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions.

At present, Eric Wang is Director of Electronic Materials DuPont Dongguan Co., Ltd. and DuPont (Shanghai) Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. For the past few years he has made great contributions to advance the technology of key photovoltaic materials in the global market.

Eric Wang

Global Business Director, Photovoltaics

In his current role, Art leads the Manufacturing Technology and Quality Assurance functions for the DuPont Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials business. Art and his team are responsible for continuously improving plant technology and associated systems related to safety, quality, and productivity. Prior to his current role, Art served as the Global Tedlar Manufacturing Technology Manager and the Tedlar® Vinyl Fluoride and PVF Polymer Manufacturing Technology Supervisor. Art also held multiple leadership roles in Operations and Technology at several DuPont sites including Fayetteville Works in Fayetteville, NC and Washington Works in Parkersburg, WV. Art holds a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of South Carolina.

Art Tolentino

Global Engineering Science Leader

Jennifer is the Global HR Partner for the Electronics & Imaging Integrated Operations and PVAM organizations. In her current role, Jennifer focuses her time on HR needs such as talent and performance management, organizational design and workforce planning that enable the business to execute its strategies and succeed in highly competitive markets. Prior to her current role, Jennifer was the North American HR M&A leader at Dow. In this role, she participated in and/or led the HR Due Diligence and Implementation phases of M, A & D projects.

Jennifer began her career with Rohm and Haas, as part of Rodel, Inc. in 1995. Prior to her HR M&A role, Jennifer was the Global Human Resources Business Partner for Dow Consumer and Industrial Solutions. She has held several other specialist and leadership positions in Human Resources including NAR Human Resources Manager for Electronic Materials, Manager of Global Compensation and US Operations, and Senior HR Generalist. She has a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Maine.

Jennifer Sandusky

Global Human Resources Leader

Jose Trevino is the Integrated Operations Leader leading integrated operations for the DuPont Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials business. Jose was most recently the Program Manager for the Electronics & Imaging Business, responsible for implementing standard manufacturing best practices and asset reliability measurements and improvements across the business.

Jose has held a variety of leadership positions since he joined DuPont in 1995, primarily stemming in areas of manufacturing having worked across 5 distinct DuPont sites in various site operations leadership roles. Most notable being positions as a Manufacturing Director for the E&C business from 2014 to 20017 and as a Manufacturing Site Leader from 2013 to 2014.

Jose received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Executive Education from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Jose Trevino

Global Integrated Operations Leader

Tim has been with DuPont for 15 years. He has served as Global Finance Leader for the Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials business for the past 3 years.

Within DuPont businesses he has served in a variety of roles ranging from business analysis, strategic planning, sales, to R&D leadership.

He has also held a variety of corporate roles focused on shared services, corporate restructuring, and an assignment supporting investor relations.

Prior to joining DuPont, Mr. Schofield worked as a consultant for Accenture.

Mr. Schofield received his BA in Economics from Swarthmore College and his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University (Tepper School of Business).

Timothy Schofield

Global Finance Leader

In Tim’s current role he leads PVAM’s efforts for advanced materials sales with global customers. Based in Taiwan, Tim serves Advanced Materials customers and leads a worldwide sales team. Tim has very strong interest in developing new business and partnering with customers on new applications. He’s dedicated to the development of the next generation of scientists and engineers at DuPont. Tim is a strong believer of “doing less to get more” and has proven that “teams can do a better job with customer as their partners.” These mantras direct his management style both internally and externally.

Tim has been with DuPont for 28 years and served in several roles. He started his career as Technical Representative in Microcircuit Materials, and took several regional and global responsibilities in Product Management, Marketing, Segment and Sales to serve the industries of Telecommunication, Automotive Ceramic Circuits and Components, Passive Components, Semiconductor Removal, Printed Circuit Boards, Photovoltaics and Architecture. Lately, new industries like EV (Electric Vehicle), PHEV and 5G communication are getting most of Tim’s time and attention.

Tim has a Master’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan Institute of Technology, where he studied high frequency electronic ceramics. His educational background fits the new era of EV and 5G technology trend well.

Tim Chang

Global Sales Leader for Advanced Materials

Rob currently serves as the Global Product Portfolio Leader responsible for the commercialization of new and innovative products to drive growth by fulfilling unmet market and customer needs. He manages the health and financial performance of the existing diverse product portfolio and ensures excellence in the Product Stewardship and Sustainability of the portfolio for the PVAM business and customers. He leads a group of regional leaders that execute plans to help customers maximize the value and societal impact of solar technology through product performance and longest life performance in the field in an ever-changing marketplace. He also supports customers in other key segments such as Automotive, Aerospace, Military and Consumer Electronics.

Rob has been with DuPont since 1992 and has held multiple leadership roles including: Sales and Technical Service Manager for the United States and Europe, Global Advanced Materials Marketing Manager for PVAM and Global Strategic Planning Manager for DuPont Electronics and Communications. He served as the M&A and Integration leader for the acquisition of Innovalight and later held the roles of Business Manager for Innovalight, Sunnyvale Site Leader and DuPont Corporate Account Manager for a leading global Electronics OEM in Silicon Valley. Rob has held multiple Operations and Site leadership roles in support of the DuPont Nylon Business as well as DuPont Electronics and Communications.

All of these roles have allowed Rob to provide leadership and strategy to the PVAM and MCM global businesses within DuPont. He has coordinated efforts with top consumer electronic OEMs across multiple business units and leveraged technology to help customers innovate and accelerate DuPont’s sales in diverse, global industries. Rob is certified as a Black Belt and Six Sigma Champion. He holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

Rob Cockerill

Global Product Portfolio Leader

Dan was appointed Global Business Manager in June 2018 for the newly acquired product lines of Trichlorosilane and Solar Silicones with overall responsibility to integrate, stabilize and ultimately grow these businesses for DuPont. Prior to this appointment, he was the Strategic Planning Manager for the Photovoltaic and Advanced Materials business where he successful integrated the Tedlar® and MicroCurcuit Materials Pastes business and developed strategies leading to significant growth and synergy realization.

In his 28 years with DuPont, Dan has held positions in technology, operation leadership, product management, quality leadership, marketing, sales, planning and business management. His positive attitude, drive for results and ability to motivate those around him enabled Dan to make significant impact in the Fluoroproducts and Electronics businesses within DuPont and many product lines including Tedlar®, Teflon®, Freon® alternatives, Nafion®, Solamet®, ETFE and solar silicones. He had assignments in New Jersey, Kentucky, Texas, North Carolina and Delaware.

Dan earned his Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University in 1992 and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisville in 1995. Throughout his career with DuPont, he received the Corporate Environmental Respect Award, Corporate Engineering Excellence Award, Corporate Critical 50 Growth Award and Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Dan Barish

Global Business Manager, TCS & Solar Silicones

Tara currently serves as the Global Marketing and Communications Leader for PVAM. She is responsible for execution of marketing and public relation strategy as oversees the government affairs and media relations work for the PVAM business. Tara leads a global team of regional experts who work to further the mission and brand identity of DuPont PVAM’s B2B and B2C businesses with downstream customers.

Prior to her current role, she was in DuPont corporate communications responsible for managing DuPont’s reputation with global audiences. She managed crisis communications and issues and coordinated public relations for the science and technology teams, sustainability, and government relation groups. Tara also managed public relations for corporate mitigation work and media communications and training for plant managers and sites in the Southeastern United States.

Prior to joining DuPont in 2010, Tara worked at Walmart as Director in Public Relations where she directed the budget and management for marketing, corporate communications, sponsorships, and community giving, acted as company spokesperson and conducted media training for key leadership. She also served as media director for sustainability topics for the corporate communications group. She also held regional public affairs roles and corporate communications roles in her seven years with the company.

Tara holds a B.A. in English from the College of Charleston.
